Student Prospects

What Can Students and Parents Expect from the Florence Unified School District?

The FUSD Vision is KIDS FIRST.  These two little words make a big difference when the District Vision Statement becomes a way of life, and the last four years have shown what a difference a caring, dedicated and focused staff can make. Under the leadership of Dr. Amy Fuller, and with the warm support of our parents and community, Florence Unified School District has become a leader in educational technology in Arizona, and every school has turned around previously lackluster performances to achieve ratings of performing, performing plus or highly performing, and we just keep getting better.

Kids First
I come second, as kids come first
Doing our best as teachers and staff, everyday, for every child
Setting high expectations for all

Finding problems to just be opportunities for creative solutions
If educationally correct, it must be administratively possible
Respect; modeled, given, received, and praised
Sharing an articulated, challenging, real-world, technologically integrated curriculum
Trust - earned, granted, forging a true partnership between faculty, staff, administrations, students, and community.
